At Southside Church of Christ, we recognize the importance of inspiring the next generation of Christians, as they will be the leaders of the Church. Passing our faith on to our children / youth is both a great responsibility and a privilege.
Our mission is to create a Christian community for teens and preteens to grow in their faith and create relationships that will support them in their walk with Christ. FIRE is an acronym that stands for Faith, Integrity, Respect, and Endurance. These are key components that we find important to instill in the youth of Southside Church of Christ. We chose FIRE as an acronym to represent that God uses his servants to spread his Word like fire and to shine like a flame in the darkness.
Nuestra misión es para crear una comunidad Cristiana para adolescentes para crecer en su fe y crear relaciones que les apoyan en su camino con Cristo. FIRE (fuego) es un acrónimo que significa Fe, Integridad, Respeto, y Aguante. Estas son componentes importantes que queremos enseñar a los jóvenes de Southside Iglesia de Cristo. Elegimos FIRE (fuego) que sea el acrónimo a representar que Dios usa sus servidores para compartir su Palabra como fuego mueve y para brillar como una llama en la oscuridad.
